BLUF
Continuation pay is an incentive for service members enrolled in the Blended Retirement System (BRS). It offers a mid-career bonus while agreeing to continue to serve for a predetermined number of years. This can be paid out in a lump sum or as installments, and even used to contribute to a service member’s TSP.
ELIGIBILITY
- Active Duty
- National Guard
- Reserve
REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled in the Blended Retirement System (BRS)
- Between 8 and 12 years of service CY25
- Between 7 and 12 years of service CY26
- Between 7 and 10 years of service CY27
- Agree to serve 4 years
